Quenching the thirst
You may have seen my disgusting photo of a buffalo in the Scratchy Corner with all the flies buzzing around it. Well, here is a small 5x7 piece of another buffalo, more of a sketch really. I didn't include the flies since you can't see them unless you zoom in and that's not necessary on a 5x7. Plus, no one would ever buy it
I guess I could also title it "Old Scarface"
The background is only an impression really to throw emphasis on the buffalo. Plus, I'm crap at backgrounds
Pretty much all fibreglass brush, except for the droplets.

Old Scarface is delightful and your FB work is first rate, but you know that .

Wow! Excellent.
Thanks for leaving the insects to the imagination. (I did see your close up in the other thread- ewwww).

Beautiful as always, even if he is a Scarface. I love pieces done on these guys. They aren't my favorite animal, but some of my favorite art. I'm weird I guess! LOL.

Excellent Patrick! We'll just let out imaginations put in the flies.

Well done Patrick, I had this image saved to do in my favorites, but I can't compete with this.

Great piece... sans flies. Wise man! I have a friend who loves to put bugs in her complex rainforest scene but once many people see the bugs they no longer love the piece. Funny how people are!

Re: Quenching the thirst
Nice one Patrick...after seeing the bugs in the other photo, we all know they are there. lol Good decision not adding them now...on a really big piece , they'd be an honest touch of reality.

Nice work Patrick. Is it a white or a black board?
