Jackie, you're so lucky to get Badgers in your garden!!! Do you feed them and watch them through your window? Great rendition of "Brock" too. Unfortunately I have never seen a living one, except on TV.

Do they do damage to your garden? The badgers we have in my area are ferocious diggers and can do some serious damage. I do enjoy watching them too (which is out on the wide open prairie)

sorry - missed these answers. Yes, they come onto our patio, right by the kitchen doors to the garden, and we sit and watch them. sometimes, they are so engrossed in eating what we leave out, they dont even notice if we go right up to the doors, and I have even taken pics and they dont seem bothered by the flash. Once they twig that we are right there, they grab something and run off! No digging in the garden so far, so no damage.

the other night, I had a badger and a roaming ginger tom eating side by side!

I think I'm a fan of your work too Jackie, love this picture, most especially the fur and the composition. I've never seen a badger in reality, although if we had them around here I'm sure they would show up in our garden since everything else that lives in this area does sooner or later.

Do you do your own matting and framing?

Hi Barbara. Not only do we have badgers in our garden, we also have a roaming neighbourhood bully cat, who is VILE to my cat, attacks her at every opportunity. Yesterday I broke up a fight between them, and my puss rushed indoors, spraying blood everywhere! It costs me a fortune in vets bills, I wish I could find a way to keep the wretched thing out of my garden.

As for framing and matting, no I dont do it myself, it is a road to insanity in my opinion, framing pastels! You put it all together, turn it over, and there is a speck of pastel under the glass. So you take it apart, remove the speck, put it together again, turn it over, and there is another speck elsewhere. No thank you.

I have a local chap who does it for me. Don't know is secret, but I never find specks of dust inside the picture!
