Re: Cherries

Wow, the shine and color of those cherries are magnificent. Love the rest too.

Re: Cherries

Great! I love the shine on the bowl....and yet the piece is super soft looking!

Re: Cherries

It is lovely too see your work here ,

I find this piece to have an elegance about it and one of my favourite areas is where the stem of the cherry outside of the bowl, touches the side of the bowl and is reflected back, very nicely done .

I look forward to seeing some more of your work.

Re: Cherries

very nice shine to the fruit

I would maybe darken the shadows more so the cherries pop off the page

Re: Cherries

I tried to draw cherries in the last month's challenge... and now I understand how much I must learn yet... Jenny, this is perfect. I really like the highlights on the surface - it looks so realistic! And the bowl as well.
I think I will study your work to learn how to draw reflected light

Re: Cherries

This cool color scheme is pretty. I especially like the stems, and the little speckles in the stripe on the bowl. You did really well with the highlights on all the cherries.

Re: Cherries

Thanks again to those who have posted. Like I have said, I am still learning, but every time I do a new piece I learn something new.
