I just adore how you have used the same colours throughout this piece, it really moves my eye around. Thats why the background works as is -I think I am right in thinking that you have used the same blues that feature in the feelers of the bug?

It is very beautifully done (I never thought I would use the word 'beautiful' in conjunction with a creepy crawly ).

I like. and i understanded there is such a thing called microcosmos. and i one of them which composed tune called microcosmos. saddly all other places where this tune is mentioned is called microkosmos. and my tune is nothing to do other tunes or this picture or even movie what there is talked.

Ali : I agree with your remark about the colors in the piece : that's what attracted my eyes first when I saw the photo.All these greens and reds and yellow and blue) were so beautiful, I felt the urge to take my pencils.
Now, I did not use the same blues for the bg and the feelers (I used phtalo blue for the feelers and light ultramarine for the bg +other colors as well)but
it must be difficult to see on a monitor. And....he is not a "creepy crawly", he is a "marvellous god's creature"

Although to be honest I am commenting from the position of Arachniphobe -so even though I have nothing against this little guy -I still find it hard to accept some of 'gods creatures' BUT I do keep trying .

Mado, it's simply gorgeous! The rosebuds and the beetle have vibrant and really beautiful colors ! As for the background, I find it very good as it is.
