#74 This was the first one I tried without ink. I needed to make the sculpture darker. Maybe next time.
#75. The profile of a carved totem pole. Used WC + WC pencils
#76. The front view of the same pole. Used WC + WC pencils.

#82 - I like this one
Again I was too tired. The building on the right is very complicated and I ran out of steam quickly

Re: Weeders Plein Aire 2012
#83 I like this one. It's simple yet the building is complicated.
#83b I did not like how this turned out. I'm calling it 83b because I did it the same time and in the same spot as #83.
#84 This was a view from beyond a concrete covered area.

Re: Weeders Plein Aire 2012
#86 I tried to tackle the tree and foliage effect again and, well, more practice needed.
#87 I like how this turned out. Loved all the trees.

Re: Weeders Plein Aire 2012
Thanks, Bonnie.
88. There were several vehicles in that parking lot but I edited them out
89. Whoops a bit of leaning building here. But I like the railing.
90. I've tried this tree before. More study needed.
91. Look, Ma - no buildings!
92. Let's try that no-building thing again.

Re: Weeders Plein Aire 2012
Impressive, Eeps!
I thoight I had already posted these. same park as my previous post, from close to the same place.
I "moved" the buildings over so I could fit them in.

Re: Weeders Plein Aire 2012
Wendy - thank you. Wonderful foliage!!
93. WC, WC pencils, and ink
94. The glass structure is a stairway from below exiting outside. Isn't it cool to emerge onto a grassy meadow?
95. A tree study, trying to channel my inner Vivien from England.
96. A courtyard

Re: Weeders Plein Aire 2012
97. I've done this view before. This time was really quickly, say 10 minutes. Those pink things on the left are supposed to be the distant mountain range. Ha!
98. I've done this view before. I seem to have exaggerated the perspective on the yellow windows.
99. Using the principle of "if you find a comfy seat, rotate your view and paint something else"
100. A two-page spread to finish this project, so 16"wide by 10" tall
Yahoo! 100!
... but I will keep going on this until I finish this sketchbook. One theme in the book.
Cheers,
