Wow You must Love it Newb ... your right though , there is nothing Plain about this or me the Artist behind it ... Sweet!

I really do. I have seen much of your work on here and like it but this is such a departure. At first glance it looks busy but when you look at it it's actually very serene. I hope you explore this more and post it for us.

Really impressed with how you created the reflections in the water of the boats! Beautiful colors, so fresh and airy, I can taste the salt in the air! (Oh, that might be those chips I just ate, though...)

Sandra, there's a lot packed into such a small canvas. Beautifully played palette and your knife work conveys to me the sound of canvas flapping. My question is why are they still in the harbor on such a nice sailing day?

Marvelous! The same freshness, spontaneity and vibration of my beloved Mediterranean Riviera, and those Impressionist painters.... Alive and romantic!

As they say: "Guano Transpires"!... Things like this happen for a reason, ya done great kiddo! Go out and buy a collection of knives and return to the Harbor, those billowing sails & spinakas are fun to do...
But always remember my ultimate backup:
"When all else fails, give it the finga!"

OK, but, in conclusion, did you like this work or not?
Do you have something clearer to say?
