Hi Jo, we have to cancel Nor'lean trip on this weekend as we want to take it slow as Iris just came out of the hospital. It looks like I only have one trip left to NYC next week and hopefully get to see Joan.

Ai - Glad to hear the good news about Iris! You must feel so much better! That is great that you have that table to work on when you are there. Good scribble sketches. It works especially well for the tree, bush, and rock. Love the ceiling lamp. I'm glad to hear that your trip to NYC is still on. Hopefully they will forecast nice weather for next weekend like they are forecasting for this one.

Barbara - Thanks. I'll have to go back and see what you posted.

Robin - Thanks.

Jo - Thank you.

I've been busy so I only got a few sketches done.
6 - lamp (blind contour) - ink
7 - scribble sketch of a cup and saucer - ink

8 - barn walls - watercolor

Robin like your scribbles.

Great new Ai. Great batch of sketches too.

Joan love those barns, that end one looks like its about to fall down but has probably been like that for years. Sturdy structures.

I've been busy so haven't got any done yet. I keep looking at the list, just need to pick up a pen and do one or two. Yeah, yeah, I am such a procrastinator. Have a great weekend everyone.

Thanks you all for your good vibe to Iris. She is back to smiling and running with her sister now.

Joan:
Your plein air is so charming, and also your saucer and cup. I hope to see you soon.

EP, Jacqui: Hello.

Re: Scavenger Hunt #264 - April 11 - 19

J- soothing blues and greens, I like the play by play posting. The diagonals lead center stage! Nice

Jacquip – I know whatcha mean, it either hard to find time or hard to get motivated but picking up the art tool is the first step to the ZONE.

Joan – fun sketches, lovely watercolor outbuilding….I see spring peaking in the subtle yellow blossoms in the grass and the angle of the sun. hope you busyness is happiness!

Ai – WOW – so many wonderful sketches, you are so relieved, thankfully and hopefully the remainder of the trip will be pleasant. Wow, that is a mom for you – looking to provide a place for creativity and quiet…….sweet…….I love the blind contour faucets…..they look supple and obedient. Nice one piece/connecting surfaces on the sketch of Tone. That would be make a good challenge objective – the sketch works like one mass..the fan is lilting like a flower. The blue teacupand saucer is hopefull. The garbage truck works well with a scribble sketch. The street, lamp, car sketch is great…….establish so much spaceiousness and dimension…..GREAT job

EP - yo
