Hello, for the basket, and for other elements of the painting on the first grisaille or translucent glazes give the corresponding color in this case the light brown basket after these layers start to color more opaque, until suitable shapes and light.

Grisaille doing well, making sure that all elements of the painting are well integrated and / or fused with the funds using the brush gently spread the paint with good medium or thinner and if possible go by the picture in stages, we get a paint if that's what we want in hardly noticed that the brush strokes.

This will advance. I am at your disposal.

Excuse my English. Greetings.

Apples and basket. Oil on panel, 42.9 "x 23.4" (110 cm x 60 cm)

More volume to apples and begin to integrate and merge all. I want to get an enveloping atmosphere of light and color.

Re: Apples and Basket

Nice... To help get the right color, mix on palette, and hold your palette knife up to the photograph.. If you get the right colors, you'll get some volume and atmosphere for free...............
