Use to denote nudity/mature subject matter A few from this semester...

I am doing an open studio and most of the sessions are anywhere from 1 hr-2 hr poses. Here is some of the work...I am slow so most are nowhere near finished, though most of my focus has been on speeding up.

C&C always welcome!

Dustin

I like the one with two models, it is nice when you can paint two.

Re: A few from this semester...

My favorites are the first two. two hours straight of life drawing must be very demanding.

These are really well done, Dustin! The two figures together are particularly well rendered. Thanks for showing us your work.

These are all very nice -- love the two at the end.

Re: A few from this semester...

Good simplification of the shapes and tones. My favourites would be the first two. My suggestion would be to look at where the edges to the shadows/highlights could be softened a bit more to help model the form.

Re: A few from this semester...

A great body of work (pun intended) but I wouldnt worry about speeding up - accuracy is more important.

Re: A few from this semester...

My favorite is the fourth figure, the frontal view of a seated woman. I realize that there are some challenges and some places unfinished, but that one arrests my attention. It may be that the values are just right.
