Thanks. Jelly beans would have been a nice addition. I never even thought of it. It's not too late though, I haven't varnished it. Thanks for the suggestion. It looks kind of stark by itself and dead center too, a no no. That's the woodworker in me.

Thanks Sandra. Sure, always open to suggestions. Having no formal art schooling I consider myself a painter more than an artist. This is my first painting from a real life reference. Until now almost all but 1 were landscapes from my imagination.
I started this so many times during the year, even wiped it clean once and redid the letters on the jar twice. Then the unthinkable happened, the paint dried before I was finished blending. Yes it is from real life. I wanted to do a still life but I'm not the fastest painter and would have finished with a pile of moldy fruit LOL. I'm still not sure if I will paint over the balloon and repaint the wording there. It irks me the way it came out.
