first still life (kind of)

Started this and stopped it several times over the last year. Many things took place that interrupted this painting. Just glad it's finally done.

Nice depth of field here. Perhaps a few jellybeans on the 'table' next to the cup? Would relate nicely..

Im only asking as you dont state as to weather it is ...

Thanks. Jelly beans would have been a nice addition. I never even thought of it. It's not too late though, I haven't varnished it. Thanks for the suggestion. It looks kind of stark by itself and dead center too, a no no. That's the woodworker in me.

Thanks Sandra. Sure, always open to suggestions. Having no formal art schooling I consider myself a painter more than an artist. This is my first painting from a real life reference. Until now almost all but 1 were landscapes from my imagination.
I started this so many times during the year, even wiped it clean once and redid the letters on the jar twice. Then the unthinkable happened, the paint dried before I was finished blending. Yes it is from real life. I wanted to do a still life but I'm not the fastest painter and would have finished with a pile of moldy fruit LOL. I'm still not sure if I will paint over the balloon and repaint the wording there. It irks me the way it came out.

Very well done and the addition of the jelly beans would be a nice touch to this wonderful painting. What size is the painting?
