My latest effort

Follows 3 x A.C.E.O.'s. 2.5 x3.5 ins As suggested by members of this group I splashed out and payed a fortune for better quality acrylic paints and mediums, I'm very pleased with the result, now I can get on with learning to paint, what do you think? Advice is much appreciated.

Re: My latest effort

Very nice! Those boots are terrific and I like the sailboat and flowers as well.
The only advice I would have is to just keep going and have fun!

Re: My latest effort

Oh, Silvenus! I remember viewing your first posting to this forum entitled Flowers! You were struggling and struggling with the student brand acrylics! Now we see what you can do with artist grade acrylics, and I am amazed! I love the beauty of the bright red flowers! The boots are a kick!

I knew you had it in you, you only needed the right tools! Wonderful!

Re: My latest effort

It is really amazing the strength and consistency of artist grade paint. It shows so strongly, especially in the boots painting. Wonderful composition, commanding color. Great work!
