I think you have done a fabulous job of Trixie and I am sure your Mum will be thrilled to bits with this. I am with Lexy in that you have taken so much time and trouble on the rest of the fur, the white fur looks rather like a bib. Next time continue with soft layers right until the end. Well done.

Thanks for your input with this, yes i think iv made a bit of mess up of her white fur main...well i supose we live and learn,il not make the same mistake next time..Thanks again.

You definitely have talent so it will just be a matter of figuring out CP, which you're well on your way to accomplishing. I love your capture of Trixie.

So, have you given your piece to your mother yet? I'll bet she will treasure both having a tangible remembrance of Trixie and the fact that you made it for her.

I kinda like the contrast between the realism and the jazzy lines on the bottom. Actually, I like it a lot! Everything about it. And the eyes turned out perfect, too. You use hard lines elsewhere, so to me, it works, it's a bit stylized and I like that.

Thanks alot for the positive comments. I got a nice mount & frame for this drawing and my mother was really pleased with it, she,s got it hung for everyone to see in her kitchen.Really enjoy using coloured pencil, just trying to look for my next subject to do and then il get started again.
