I am sorry but I just looked at the finished photo and I think I should let you know that the painting is 24"x36". In the photo it looks square. I don't think you can get the true feel of it.

Wow Nicki, I'm sure that is really impressive in any space! The iceplant looks great, no easy task. Along with the waves and cypress, it captures that landscape perfectly

Thank you so much Brian!!! I think this pic shows it better , not all crowded into a square, but the colors from other one are truer

Oh, that last photo is much better! Now I can really see it in proper perspective! Nice work. And it's always fun to see the WIP...

I agree, the last photo do give justice to the piece. I like it all and I think you made a great work in the details of foreground flowers!

Hi Nick,
Well done! Thanks for posting the WIP pics. Nice to see it all unfold. Iceplant is something I've yet to portray so it is nice to see your handling of it here. Good job!

Thank you so much Lea.I looked on your website!!! Gorgeous paintings!!!! I am glad you like it. I know I don't paint the way you are supposed to . But if I can show the method to my madness, it might help someone else out there.
Randal thank you, like I told Lea, I can't explain what I do, so I show you what I do .
Gianluca, first of all.... I love your name!!! I am glad you like the foreground . To me , that is the most important piece. I wouldn't be surprised if I tweaked it a little more. Client is not picking it up for another month. It is very dangerous to leave the painting with me that long .
Hi Ron,thanks so much for looking in. After looking at your website, I must bow to the master!!!! Awesome works!!! It was a challenge I must say to paint an ocean scene with the ocean not being the focal point.
Thank you so much John, I hope the client agrees. They haven't seen any part of it, They want to be totally surprised, but she did want the path to be the main focal point. So I hope I did that take care, Nicki

You have obviously spent some time on this and it has paid off, Nicki. The colors are very appealing as is the subject. Well done!

Thanks so much Ron. I think by having to hold on to the painting for a while, I have learned an important lesson. I think from now on, I will keep a painting on my easel when I think I am done.
