Love the concept. it might be neat if the dog were two-toned in the color of your knot-work and the bands were streaming from his paws spotted of those same colors. If you kept those light, it could sit on a dark bg to add greater contrast. Great scarf on the dog!

David: the great thing about Photoshop8 that I use is that I can create an endless variety of color combinations. I like your concept and when I get some spare time I will try what you suggested and post it here.
Thanx for commenting, Greg

Nice work birdhs! I like doing the knots too. Always a brain teaser putting them together.

I have developed a system for creating the knots, perhaps I'll do a WIP for the next so I can "unravel' the mystery of knot making....
Thanx 4 the comment, Greg

Greg,
Great idea! This is what Celtic Designs look like, from a dog's perspective.
I was curious about one thing, and maybe you know the answer. Does PhotoShop8 allow you to create three-dimensional "ropes", curling through space, with for example a single light source?
Thanks again for posting this great picture!

Isbell- thanx for the comment, always appreciated.
I am not sure what you mean about PS8- best place to get an answer for that is in the digital forum- that's where the real computer experts reside.
