Oh, I think this is one of my favorites- altho I DO love your still lifes. You do amazing work.

You did a ONE INCH VERSION? Is it posted? My GOSH...

I would love to see your reference. Is it near this value difference or are you just that totally amazing with the lighting?

Here's the original reference...you can see I didn't have to imagine too much. This is the window where I take a majority of my still lifes...I have black curtains hanging for a background, in front of the window and the side wall beside it. My cat always has to investigate what I'm setting up so I have a lot of pics of her here.

Lorna, this is such a nice image. It really has a calming atmosphere. The light on the cat and especially the marbles is just so captivating.
