 , that's a great photo, so cute!
Greg, thanks for the youtube video of the Figge, I hadn't seen that. It's a great museum. They have some great programs and like to get the whole community involved, there's also adult programs, classes, and every Thursday they have an sort of informal coffee club with food and music from locals and such. Sometimes they have a tour of a certain gallery with an expert or what have you.
I only live about a fifteen minute drive from it. What I really love the best about the Figge though, is that you can literally get inches from the paintings. As long as you don't touch, they don't mind a full close up scrutiny. It's quite an experience to be able to look at a Manet or a Goya from inches away.
I think I do have other photos of the Skywalk on my other computer, I'll put them up later. I know I have some of some people dancing in it over the road. I was at a red light and saw them, it cracked me up.

I really like this shot. A small town feel to it.

Lorell- what a classic photo, could have been a Norman Rockwell painting!
Virginia- looking forward to those pix. Here is a link to our local Art museum, also a first rate institution- now I feel guilty I don't go there more often.

The dancers are a hoot! Something I will be certain to do when I visit
We have a glass walkway from the walking bridge over to the museum.
I wonder if anyone dances on it?
I can picture Fred and Ginger in an old b&w movie.... His taps would make a wonderful clicky-clackity sound on those tempered green glass sheets..... :mus ic: and her dress would swirl around as she dips.....
looking toward the Hunter Museum
looking back towatd the walking bridge
Got all the rest of the roofs finished on the Thomasville Birdhouse Collection, just have to do touch-ups, them seal the acrylic paints with marine spar varnish.
Life is good

Love that glass walkway! Does it make you nervous to walk on it?
