Dragon with ugly nose

This is what came out, after sketching a bunch of dragon concepts. His face ended up being kind of ugly though.

Critiques are welcome!

I love the style of this! I really like the sketchy feel, and the movement. :-D

Well! Now that's different- not an easy thing to do in Dragon art.

"I really like the sketchy feel, and the movement. "

Beautiful painting of a cruel dragon! He looks grim! The ugly nose looks terrible in a good way, this one is a monster that might rip your guts out. Well done! Unique and awe-inspiring.

That's unique and interesting. Dragon heads are hard to do so they don't look too simple. Yours has a lot to see.

Very cool, lots of teeth and spikes and horns. The bg works really well.

I do like the ugly nose and teeth and all. But I like the lighter color version because it shows more detials. Good sky.

Thanks.

I agree. I always have a hard time balancing the contrast, color tint (warmer or cooler), vibrance / saturation, brightness etc.

Especially because each computer monitor is different and the individual contrast setting can mean that some of the details can disappear. Which is why I always appreciate feed back like this!

Re: Dragon with ugly nose

Love it when a monster gets his teeth back. So tired of cutesy dragons. He is rather awesome.
