Re: Perfect Camouflage

Oh my Dianna, this is wonderful! I am amazed at the detail in the bird in such a small picture. I'm going to have to study the water a bit and see how you did it.

Great job!!

Re: Perfect Camouflage

Amazing painting Dianna!!! I imagine it was hard to keep the bird from being lost in the background...the painting is even greater because of this. Wow...

Re: Perfect Camouflage

Thank you all and hi there Scotty....I am doing just great. Must get back down you way again!

As for the detail camo effect... I must be getting old. A challenge like this has always been what keeps me going but for some reason, be it possibly my mood at the time, I found this one a bit too challenging. I have several more with great water effects that I was going to do but think I might wait a while for them.

Thanks again everyone... Cheers, Di

Diane. I am new to WetCanvas, but not to art and not to pastels. I loved what you did and that you had the courage to paint, not by custom (back and forward contrasts) but by intent. The water, by the way is marvelous as is the bird. I do a lot of waterfalls... love water. artbycoralee
