I'm excited to be recieving a piece from Black Horse, love the colors and textures in her ACEOs and other pieces. I'm also excited and nervous to do a piece for lotsofsmoggies, it will be my first fully CP piece in a long while.

I think I am probably going to be the envy of everyone for receiving an original from Pat--and no one could be more excited or delighted than me! I wonder if it will have whiskers and almond eyes? hee hee....I will be honored whatever I receive...

Oh Dear.. Self doubt has started crawling in. I was actually so excited to participate in this exchange that as soon as I signed up I started working on something. But now, I'm just not sure it's nice enough to give..

I think most of us will have moments like that along the way. Give that self-doubt a hard smack and tell it to get lost! 
It is often the heart of a piece, not the "perfection" level, that reaches out and touches people. By contrast, there are "perfectly" executed pieces out there that have no life to them. If you inject your work with your personality and love of art, you will create something beautiful to share.
While I fully believe in pushing technical ability to its fullest, I have given up the idea that I must reach some mythical place called "good enough" before I can share what I create. That thinking robs many people from both sharing and receiving!
That said, I know you will do well!  |

Does anyone have a plan C??? I've now drawn out a third compositon...same idea just different composition. I think I'm just gonna go with it, because I'll never make the deadline if I don't!! Gonna start putting color to it tonight!!
