Thomas Kinkade died of "natural causes" at 54

I can't find any articles about WHAT he died of, but he's gone now. He was too young.

I know in fine art circles, his work was / is consisdered kitch (spelling?), but I know he painted better than I can, so I admired him. I think his true genius was in marketing.

He presented himself as a Christian. Many of my Chrisitan friends gushed over his paintings, and among my Christian friends, it is very fashionable to own one of his fancy-framed giclees. In my job, I go into many homes, and when I see a Kinkade on the wall, the people are always Christians. On the other hand, I heard he did not exactly live a Christian lifestyle.

However you look at it, I think he was too young to die, and that alone is sad.

Anyway, just sharing.
C&C always welcome.
