Re: Monthly MINIATURE Project -- March, 2012
Wow your fox looks amazing!
Makes me shy about posting mine, since I am not at that level! I tried the the green beans and tomatoes – photo by BettyBoop. ATC size markers and inks.

Re: Monthly MINIATURE Project -- March, 2012
Lovely work in this thread. I tried the yellow fields by madmum for my second ever gouache piece. 4"x6" on 140 lb wc paper.

Re: Monthly MINIATURE Project -- March, 2012
Trying to practice painting miniatures. This one is 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".
Reference courtesy of madmum
This is my first attempt at a miniature painting. It looks yellower than it is IRL and my camera seems to be flattening out the yellow passages.
Kate - very nice bird!
Ros - I love the juicy colors on the tomatoes and peas.
SunFace - the adenium is lovely and so are the tomatoes and peas.
Lucylove - I really adore how that fox turned out. Gorgeous.
Colorfulcritters - great gouache landscape. I wish mine had more variation like yours!

Rain24, I really like your painting as it is more realistic than mine. I especially like your trees.

Well done Marriam. Your drawing is great and the newspaper print is quite a novel idea.

I know I am late, but better late than never. I am inspired by the previous works to get to work and do something myself. You guys are great!
water colour, pen and ink on watercolour paper, 6x4in.

Eileen, your Tomatoes and Beans is a beautiful drawing, and the colour is wonderful, especially on the Tomatoes. Thankyou so much for posting.

Re: Monthly MINIATURE Project -- March, 2012
Lola and Rain did such beautiful landscapes. It is very tempting to try, but April's challenge awaits. I just finished Dave Slaughters little bird in watercolour on a 3.5x2.5 card.
