Red face Some of my clay work...

Hi everyone! I'm new here. I joined mostly to lurk and read the threads and improve my own art through that but I figured why not share some of mine too? So here I am.

I started making these guys in 2008. Since December 2010 I have been doing commissions steadily and making them to order. I do them from polymer clay (sculpey/ sculpey firm/ prosculpt) over a wire armature. I don't cast them or anything, at least not yet!

I mostly make horses, unicorns, and kirins. Here's a few. I'll also post my site at the end so you can see others, I don't want to picspam everyone!

Thanks for looking, I guess I'm posting more to share but I'm not opposed to critique either.

Here's some other places to find me if you want to see more:http://quequinoxart.com/

Wow; very impressive. What size are these? The hair attachment is quite natural looking. I can see why they are selling. Normally I'm not a fan of photographing art objects in settings, but it really works in this case and adds a kind of verisimilitude to the work. Nice.

Wow those are so beautiful! I LOVE the first one, definately! That's the first time I've seen a horse like that before, with anters as opposed to a horn. Very nice!

Gorgeous! I love the non-standard horns you have on some of them. What sizes are these?
