Hi!
I recently bought Ann Kullbergs book, Colored Pencil Portraits - Step by Step, as I was interested in starting to paint portraits.
I found it very interesting so I decided to try first of course doing some of the exercises in the book. I found the guide on how to create the skin tones really excellent. I reproduced the skin tones gradient using my Faber-Castell Polychromos and I used it for the exercise.
I chose the kid under the sun as my first attempt I was really surprised by the results. It really works!! So I wanted to share it.
I will try with real portraits to see how it works!!
