The Crimson Window

Not sure if 9" x 12" is considered miniature. Just thought I would share my latest painting. This is 9" x 12" oil on canvas. Not sure about the title. Guess I'll keep it for now. Thanks for looking,
Scott

Re: The Crimson Window

OMG, this is a fantastic painting. I just love it to bits.

The maximum size for Miniatures in this forum is 24 square inches (such as 6"x4"). I would suggest you post it in the Oils Forum.

Val.

Re: The Crimson Window

Thank you Val I wasn't sure about the size working in this forum. Sorry about that. Actually I posted it in the oil forum first.
Thanks again,
Scott

Re: The Crimson Window

Not a miniature but a Masterpiece!!! You could just make the painting in the size of a miniature. You could do it and it would be a fantastic piece!!! Your detail is in the same range of miniature!! I love it!!

This is so realistic, I think he was out in my back yard all winter! I have a pair of cardinals that love our pinetree and I see them year round. I like the edges of your feathers, makes it look alive. Kurlie 8-)

I agree with VMRS, miniature or not, it is gorgeous!

I am 100% with Jim, and I know that I am not alone in hoping you will join our forum! I mostly paint ACEOs, and if you search for Coalburn on eBay and view his ORIGINAL ACEOs, you will see just how much your talent would be appreciated!!!

Re: The Crimson Window

Lovely! What a beautiful little piece of work. If it looked any more real, I think that wee bird would fly away!! Ady
