Vulture wyrm

Just a sketch I decided was good enough to share. Strangely doodled the wings first...and yes he is a nasty one. The vulture wyrm (Wipera gypsa), that beak can crack bones, but then it a scavenger so what do you expect. It can't really fly the wings are too small, but can leap/tackle/glide so if it spots a weakened/injured critter it can turn predator. Lives in marshy, swampy forest i think hmm.
Yes there is a cute bunny in the corner it is after all a doodle page.

Re: Vulture wyrm

That's an excellent wyrm - I always find sketches interesting, and this one's definitely worthy of being posted! I especially like how torn and ragged the wings look.

What kind of pencil did you use?

Thanks!

Re: Vulture wyrm

LOVE the detail of the face and the wings -- very nice! Sometimes unplanned sketches are the best, aren't they? Beautiful! Love that beak, and those eyes, the spikes over its head and down its back, and yes, even the cute little bunny in the corner LOL

Very well done!
