What can add uv protectant over mixed media piece?

I need advice. Just completed a mixed media piece with fragments of print mags. What should I apply to keep it colorfast within regular uv degradation and fading? Definitely want to keep the surface Matte. Any suggestions for long term preservation? Thanks!

A number of the varnishes contain UV protection. There may be a good matte varnish from Golden, Liquitex or Lascaux that you can use.

Cheers!

Unfortunately I don't have personal experience with them. I've only heard about them in a variety of forums, discussions and demos.

I've used two different topcoats from Golden's. One is gloss and the other is semi-gloss. They are simply called "Gel Topcoat with UVLS". Here's the info sheet on them:

Krylon has spray UV finishes--"Krylon Preserve It" or "Krylon UV Archival Varnish" are both ones I've used.
