Really sorry that I wasn't able to host this time. I've had a hard time getting used to a new treatment - a weekly shot that takes my going out to the clinic to get my shot and resting up afterwards pretty much did me in. So rather than swap out for someone scheduled to do my March hosting late, I just signed up for a week in April.

Ari's birthday is April 22nd, so I'll take a good new photo of the Birthday Boy and put together a collection of colorful San Francisco street scenes and garden subjects. Yesterday I tried out my new Power Chair and because I got to the clinic early, had an hour of rolling around taking photos. I'm feeling a lot better today than previous Fridays so I've got a lot of hope that I won't be sick the week I just signed up for.

Apologies for the two consecutive absences. I'm going to set reminders in my phone now so that I do show up to post on time. There - appointment set, with a reminder a day before so I can organize and resize the photos on Saturday. I will be posting at 10am Pacific time or later, don't panic if you're in a time zone that turns out to be one in the afternoon or something. I will show up. Sorry, I don't do mornings.

If that's a problem, message me and I'll reset it so I post on Saturday night and have it up sooner.

Robert, I will look forward to seeing the birthday boy's photo. My roommate's dog has his birthday this month on the 23rd. . . he will be the big 10! How old will Ari be next month?

Ari will be twelve! I got him in 2000 - he's a big old fellow, middle aged like his human and very hairy! Very athletic too. His vet said he has the teeth of a two year old because he only likes dry food, not wet cat food. He's been getting rowdy and using the bed for a trampoline, running around chasing his tail like a baby kitten, knocking the mattress off the bed, throwing pillows, chasing his toys - he's a great cat athlete!

I took over 300 photos today at Golden Gate Park and next time will have lovely mallards, bronze panthers, a gorgeous pond, a stone Sphinx and some great trees as well as of course a new good Ari Cat photo and whatever else good ones come up before then.
