Cherries and Glass
Loved this design by Louise Jackson who does beautiful watercolor. I converted the design to colored pencils as I am not that good with watercolor.

Re: Cherries and Glass
Thank you for the kind comments. It is on Bristol Vellum using Prismacolor Pencils and is 8x10. I tried to download larger, but kept getting message to big. I may try some more later to see if I can get it larger. Again thank you.

Very crisp and clear, nice sheen on the cherries and good background color. Nicely done!

Thank you for posting this bigger. I like it more then I thought I did. I like the colors you have used, the background color really makes it stand out.

Re: Cherries and Glass
I love the background. How did you achieve such a dense background with CP? The cherries look great, as does the glass. I love the shadows through the glass. Great job!

Re: Cherries and Glass
For the background I used Black Cherry, Indigo Blue and then Blue Violet. I used very small circular strokes layering each color. Background is easy part as you can do background while watching TV or just relaxing.
