Re: Happy to Be Here

To all my new Pastel Pals -- Deirdre, Carmel, Jaime, Marina, Ruthie, Ally, Donna, Sherry, Sarah, Deanna, Jean, Jen, Don, and of course, Bluefish -- I'm so glad I discovered this forum, which is filled with generous cheerleaders. As I mentioned once before, almost no one sees my work, so this is a thrilling change. Thank you all!

Re: Happy to Be Here

Beautiful piece. I felt like I should flinch from the water about to hit my toes! Killer perspective.

As a newbie to pastels, also... I understand the desire to finally have some feedback on your work... It is addictive! It helps to keep me creating, too.

Don't hold back, i'd love to see more.

It's another beautiful seascape, really nicely done Susan, the sky is especially magical, love the wispy clouds and all the energy.

Yes WC is a wonderfully supportive group of artists, that why we keep coming back every now and then.

Gorgeous! I love that surf. The clouds are rich and wonderful too, such great shapes tumbling over each other. The foam sliding up onto the beach is spectacular. Fantastic work.

L Rene and Bettie -- Thanks for loving this painting. Positive comments mean so much; they help me get through the dark times at my easel.
