MegaMinor question

Hi all - Dumb newbie questions here. I'm using a HotHead currently, having upgraded when my FireWorks torch died. I was not planning on upgrading to a "real" torch for a while but I scored an oxygen concentrator (DeVilbis MC84) from craigslist for $125 and couldn't pass it up. I'm now salivating for a new torch. A Nortel minor seems to fit the bill for me at present, but looking to the future I'm thinking of maybe getting a Mega Minor might save me a later upgrade. My question is will one oxycon run the MegaMinor adequately to use at a reduced capacity until I find another/larger oxycon? I'm open to any suggestions for alternatives as I have zero experience and have no access to try out equipment in my area.

I'm sorry I don't know the answer, but in my experience, I've contacted the maker of the torch that I wanted to get in order to get the right answers. I'm looking foward to seeing your work!

This is a 5 liter/min up to 8.5psi oxycon so the MegaMinor should be OK. Another burner to consider is the GTT Cricket - they are specifically designed for M5 class Oxycons.

Minor/mega-minor or cricket.... Not sure what the Lynx is rated at....

The Lynx is a major burner. Would take an M20 class OxyCon or two m15'S. Great burner though....
