Re: Annie's A5 white sketchbook

Some more I've added to my book in the last 8 days.

The shouldered hawk from maybe the inspirational thread, not sure. That beak was a mare to do.
050.JPG

Various cat sketches, not happy with any of them.
051.JPG

These are suppose to be eggs.
052.JPG

And two from maybe a WDE or a weekly drawing thread?? But they are else where on this site anyways.

I love your last sketch - is it an Afghan hound? You did a great job with the hair, and the movement!

Great group of sketches. Have to say the hair on the dog is really well done. It has a lot of movement in it.

Re: Annie's A5 white sketchbook

Well long time no see! For all those who might vaguely remember I gave birth Nov 14th last year and he is now almost 10 weeks old. And now I can concentrate without feeling sick or tired or both I've done a bit of sketching again, with my free time (yeah I don't get much).

A hare, which I done again the next day, resulting image under this one.

A stag from one of my ref pictures.

Another stag in front of a fallen tree.

Another horse.

Nice proportions on the stag! I confess to just reading your signature line - wow, do you have quite the collection of critters! Lots of inspiration for sketching them from life.

Nice budgies. This reminds me of the budgies that I had when I was a child.
