Painting on Glass - what paint to use?

Hello
x posted in glass technical forum http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/show...2#post15315792

I'm planning a project in a narrow space, where lighting is poor. One solution to the light problem is to use a mirror - which is fine, except that I'll be asked to paint on the mirror.

What paint would work well?

While it's heavy, the mirror is likely to be moved around - so the finish must be robust (I can avoid likely handling areas).

Decoart has a line of glass paints including enamels, glass stain, glass markers and Glass-tiques (which is pretty new). Enamels are traditional glass paints (they are very opaque on the whole). The stains and the glass-tiques produce a more transparent look. DecoArt has a new online store.

Thanks Banshee-Woman
Are any of these suitable to use on a mirror?
I should have said, the mirror is about 4 foot long

I've used the stains on a mirror and was happy with the results. I wanted some of the illumination of the mirror to come through. The heavier paints will be opaque. All should work on a mirror.
