Hi Nolagal, I think it is a very nice painting, but I agree with Allison about the leaves looking a little dry. maybe they were meant to be, but I would add a little more juicy colour to them if it were up to me. I love the bird, but I had some trouble finding his neck and beak and at first only saw the red and thought he had a little red head and no eye. Perhaps as Allison said by adding some different tones to him and also slightly lighten the area behind his black neck so it doesn't merge away completely. He seems to be leaning a little bit as if he's going to fall off so maybe his legs could be a bit straighter. Just my opinion, I do love your work and it is a wonderful composition. He is a dear little bird and I love the work on the fence and feeder, very nice. Well done and it's not too late to change anything if you want to, the beauty of acrylics!!!!=)) cheers. Debs.
