Stupid Question #1 - Cleaning Hollow Beads!

Ok...I need some help....I made my first set of hollow beads using the puffy mandrels....they turned out pretty wonky...but fun.....I loved making them...want to really perfect them....Now...for the stupid question....How the heck do you clean out the bead realease and water from the inside???????? Sorry to be such a dork......thanks for your help.

Oooh! So it worked? Love those old posts with Anne Ricketts, Tink, and all.

Maybe we don't have a recent show and tell because of uploading problems. I know there was a problem earlier this week.

Karen, I'm so glad you enjoy making the blown hollows! When we introduced the mandrels several years ago, we had no idea they would be so popular. Jeri Warhaftig covers the technique beautifully in her newest book, Creating Glass Beads and also has a free tutorial on her site.

You can also do the fill with water and blow it out technique. DH tossed our waterpik so that's how I do it now
