Canvas finished, awful ballon in the center

Hi people, I``m a beginner and make a terrible mistake.
Im painting a large canvas, but the easel isn't same size. So, I took a square sponge , trying to avoid what finally happened.
The work must be ended by next Monday.
Is it possible rescue the painting or start again painting 12 hours a day.

Thank you in advance!!
