Re: Has The Webinar Been Hacked?
The webinar was given from a company called Carisle on Friday 20, 2012. They are a large company 11,000 employees. Go to Meeting people do have them as a legitimate company and the webinar they gave did take place.
http://www.carlisle.com/
So there is no concern on that part. Im suspecting that maybe the list got mixed up somehow. I can assure you all that your email list is locked up securely with me and I have all the PC computer protection possible.

Do you remember registering for the event by putting in your name etc thinking it was with us or did you just spontaneously receive the confirmation email. Please tell me what you got from them. This applies to any of you reading this.

No, I didn't register for the SpecSuite seminar, if that's what you're asking. I got the same confirmation as in post #1.
Bizarrely, I just got a confirmation that I successfully registered for the Painting Skies seminar (as I also did weeks ago when I signed up originally). It's a confirmation, not a reminder for tomorrow's session.

Re: Has The Webinar Been Hacked?
Okay,
I got this one too. I registered long time ago also.
but if you copy and paste the link to a notepad, you see that is legitimate going to
https://www1.gotomeeting.com etc ec.
The reply to email comes from fwmedia, which to my knowlege is F+W media, a Wetcanvas partner who sponsors these webinars.
Correct?

So did I. Also, I don't use the gotomeeting link. I use the link from Jo's website.
I think the company just got the email lists mixed up.

Yes that seems to be what happened. Just ignore any confirmation you got from "SpecShare Suite".

Re: Having a problem with our forum?
I have not received email from the threads for over a week, I'm subscribed to all pertaining classes with Johannes and should be getting them, daily. I understand there is a problem with the site that is affecting everybody, hope it gets fixed soon.

Jose - I have resolved the problem by unsubscribing and then subscribing to the threads again. Now I do get the email notifications again!
