Ghosts of Castle U'Courth

This is an experiment for a new series, child walking with ghosts. Drew the figures then played in Photoshop8...
Is this usuable (age group 7-12?). This is only the rough sketch. Please feel free to C&C

Thanx Greg

Re: Ghosts of Castle U'Courth

Hi Greg,

Nice start. I like the concept. However, to me ghosts are kinda see thru. Maybe have the lines of the floor tiles show thru the ghost figures. Right now because the main character is in white I pick up on him as the ghost but I know he isn't.

Keep us up to date with the piece.
Maggie

Maggie: here is the 'finished' rendition:

However, now i see that it would be more effective with lines showing through the ghosts, I will correct that soon,
All C&C welcomed, Greg

Very good concept. I am new to illustrating, but being a horror author, this definately has the wheels turning!

Thom - hope you are still on WC! just examining old threads I had started and noticed I had not responded to your post.

Hope I have gotten a little better in the last year.... these figures are sooooo awkward, but I still liked the effect.

Thanx for commenting, life is still good, even a year late
