Askew II.

I did a small loose pastel of this last month and wanted a bigger and tighter acrylic of the old facade....years of flooding have settled the old house in a rather crooked way....hence the Title; "Askew".
14x24 acrylic on board. Cheers, Derek

Delightful Derek! I love old house scenes and paint them when I can. Why not post the pastel one here too for comparison? I'd be happy to see it.

Wonderful line work!! I'm particularly fond of the right side (the fencing and shrubbery). I'd like to see the pastel too.

Wonderful painting and easy to see why it was accepted. Love the details on brickwork and other.

Hi Derek, love the painting. I love old crooked houses as well, they have so much character. Love the title too.

Re: Askew II.

This is very relaxing. Real moody painting. How the red and yellow ties everything in the window and the tree leaves and the bricks.

Pure.
