FYI! Image Problems & the RIL - It's Not You!
Or your computers. Or the browser you're using. Or anything else you can control.

Many of the attached images in threads have decided to take a holiday. It's happening site wide and hopefully will be resolved soon.

Sadly, the RIL appears to have taken off with the attached images. Links to images in the RIL or trying to get into it via the content pull down menu doesn't work.

Both of these issues are WetCanvas problems. They aren't anything you've done or can do to fix. The techs are aware of the situation and are working on it. Someone put on a fresh pot of coffee for them & send 'em some extra luck!

There is a way that solves the problem partially.
Provided that you have uploaded somewhere else on the internet your image.

If you type the code below, the image appears in your post here in wetcanvasas if it was loaded properly.

Hello All,

WC's database replication process is taking a very long time because of its enormous size. The exponential growth of WC was actually the reason we needed to add a new web head & storage, etc. during last night's round of maintenance/upgrades.

In order to bring the site back online this morning, while the database replication is allowed to continue, we had to revert to a version from before the maintenance period.

So, as the replication process is completed, the databases will be merged and presently missing content will return. No data has been lost, it's all still there. So it should be just a matter of time before the missing content is returned.

We're sorry that this is taking longer than expected...but very much appreciate your patience while this process is completed.

There was another 'Fix' attempt yesterday....so some of yesterdays posts are missing....hopefully, they will turn up....

I never have trouble uploading pictures and now all of a sudden I can't! What is going on?
