Ideas for NEW Series...???

Thinking of learning gouache... would you please suggest a starting palette!!!
What type of brushes.. same as oils or acrylics???
Also what formats...grade of paper ??

I'll be sharing the paints, materials I use in the webinar...
but basically I revert back to a mixed bag of my former acrylic palette of years, the split primary palette...that is, a warm and cool color temperature of each of the primaries...

Prussian Blue, Ultramarine Blue...Sky blue...Alizarin, Cad red medium...Lemon yellow or Hansa yellow...yellow ocre, white, black, viridian or phthalo green...

I use smaller synthetic brushes...flats, rounds...and sometimes a rubber tipped tool used in clay sculpturing...plus a paint knife...1-1/4" Richeson diamond shape...

I'll buy Strathmore #400 series black presentation board, or buy a couple varied colored sheets of matboard from my framer...acid free emphasized, and cut those up. I have heavy watercolor paper as well...but not my favorite...unless perhaps I tone it first...

for painting outdoors in cold weather or slow down drying time, I'll pick up a bottle of glycerin at the pharmacy...

picked up a half-dozen works from my framer today...several going off to Mountainsong Gallery in Carmel By the sea...

framed, matted up another one...with black mat, having a hunch the black might set off the color more...the energy. Seems to me that white mats suck a bit of the life out of color. White being cool in nature....

Is there a date for your gouache sessions start? Can't wait to sign up.

Also I have been very impatient for the downloads from your last session to be made available since I was in Europe most of the time the webinars were on and couldn't manage to stay up late enough, and I want to see them. (The only one I managed to connect to was the one where the power went out.) I know it's out of your hands; just wonder what's keeping them.

Well...they want about three weeks to promote it...but not until the material of the last session is made available.

apparently some technical difficulties...that is being worked on...
its been a while...and is out of my hands. Just trying patiently to wait it out, but spend my time working/preparing for the next one...
