Making beads out of flower petals

Hi everyone. Newbie here. I would love to know how to make beads out of petals.

Does anyone have any experience in make beads from flower petals?

I found several "recipes" online where you cook down the finely chopped rose petals over a series of days & the flower pulp turns into somewhat of a clay. I cooked some rose petals down in an enamel pot over 4 days & pulsed them in a food processor to make the pulp smooth but my beads are drying an awful dark brown color.

I would love to know how to do them and they retain a color somewhat similar to what was started with to begin with.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
