This is an oil I did many moons ago. About 18x24. It started as just a landscape and it sure needed something: so...... the Angel emerged.

Hi Derek, I love this painting, I do remember it. Your work is all in my opinion inspirational..it always offers peace and tranquility, superbly done and gives
creation a standing ovation...how much more inspirational can something get.

Theres acutally a lot going on in different parts of the forum. I just branched out myself.

About your piece
To me is shows how there is always the presence of "God". I use that term loosely to mean the ever expansive consciousness present in everything always. You've made a piece where this presence doesn't have to be as clear as a slap in the face or as faint as a the shadow from a full moon. There is a balance where connecting with that presence can just be felt by taking a walk through nature.
I feel like I've been to that exact spot. Both physically and spiritually.
Nice job. Not an easy task. Keep up the good work.
