This painting is titled Sausalito Steps
It was painted from a photo I took while visiting a few years back and after several attemps I used only my palette knife to capture the moment.
This was on a difficult day of medical problems.

Sorry it took me so long to get back here but I'm glad I did and saw this.
The feel suggests the struggle to rise above our human trials and pains..I like the way the steps go into the light, I hope things are well with you. Nicely done.

I think of each of our days as a rung on a ladder, or a step, constantly learning, growing and seeking for improvement. When we die we will reach our highest point above the clouds in eternal bliss. Thinking along these lines helps me stay grounded knowing that through the struggle in the material plane is ultimately a spiritual journey forever spiraling upwards.
