Hot Dog! It's Summer!
Photoshopped severely to get rid of reflections and glare.
Photo taken inside, with Nellie sitting beneath her window:

Re: "mural" on glass window
So when you paint from the inside, you must have to paint in reverse order... what you put down first shows first? How does your brain work that way? I am not sure I COULD DO THIS!!! GREAT WORK!

Re: "mural" on glass window
Nellie is the teacher now. I just realized that I meant to put Lizzie the lizard in there somewhere, and forgot all about it.

Re: "mural" on glass window
I just stumbled onto this website looking for information on window painting. I was asked by a bakery to do a window for them. I normally paint on canvas, so I thought I would research. WHAT a FUN thing to do!!! So many talented artists in here and sooooo glad I found you guys!

Re: "mural" on glass window
I am just beginning to start painting windows and do murals. I want to tell Ruth that I love your Nellie windows, they are awesome, I think I like the last Spring and Easter one the best though.
You are an inspiration to us all!

Catching up! Here's the 2011 Christmas window, "Nellie the Red-Nosed Rein Dog."

Re: "mural" on glass window
A little late getting started on 2012. I combined several holidays into one, called it "A Long Winter's Nap" and put it up today. Customers loved it, one was laughing out loud and saying it's hilarious. In case you can't see it, the holidays left to right are New Year's, Ground Dog Day, Valentine's Day, Presidents' Day, and St. Patrick's Day.

Re: "mural" on glass window
Ruth,
If I had a storefront business, I certainly would want your talent for the windows. These Nellie paintings are funny and adorable (and imaginative) enough to make a book out of them.
Awesome!
