Hello, I am new, I make cards for people I know. I need help on how to make water in ponds and lakes look more real and then in the winter how to make them look frozen. Thanks

I know enough about pastels to make me dangerous.. I would probably lay down some color and use a watercolor brush with very little water to swirl things around .. be sure and leave nice little areas areas of white
