Many thanks, glad people like these! The big squirrel mops are a revelation I don't know why I haven't used them much before, makes painting a larger sheet outdoors more practical, I have been trying to find cordless battery hairdryers they have them in the USA and elsewhere but not here. I did think a plumbers blowtorch might work if you were careful...
@ Doug, not sure if either of these count as plein air, the second only got the drawing and the first wash, and the other needed a very risky blue graded blue wash over the whole painting... best not done in the field!
