I may do several of the fine photos posted by Wendy.
I'm not finished, still have to paint the flowers. I'll probably leave the background plain.
It's in my large watercolor Moleskine drawn with Noodler's black ink (no pencil first) with my Lamy Safari fountain pen and painted with gouache. I have 2 Lamy Safari's with extra fine nibs, one is black and one is silver colored. The black nib really doesn't like the paper in the watercolor Moleskine (it's the one I used here), it keeps catching and doesn't slide at all but the silver nib is smooth. But, the silver had blue ink and I didn't want to use that.
It may have taken about 45 minutes to draw and an hour to over work the paint
The color is way off. The greener leaves are fairly accurate but the blue leaves are way off, they are actually pthalo green with yellow added not at all like the blue it's s showing here. Maybe when I'm done I'll take a picture outside (tomorrow).
