Helpful oil painting tutorials

Hi everyone, i've been a tutor for many years now and passed a CRI course many moons ago
Just thought i'd leave you guys a link to my youtube site micart33, i have full demos on there using the wet on wet technique.
As this is a quick style of painting, these are ideal for classes

take care everyone.

Re: Helpful oil painting tutorials

I think you may have improved on the Bob Ross technique,

What brand of paints do you use? As this technique requires quite a firm paint

WITH THE WETON WET STYLE OF PAINTING, COULD YOU PLEASE ADVISE AS HOW TO PREVENT YOUR CANVAS AND PALETTE FORM DRYING OUT BEFORE THE PAINTING IS COMPLETE.

I'm not sure what everyone else has been watching. All I saw was about a 1 1/2 minute commercial with nothing but text.

I saw a guy working on an orange lily in real time: 7 minutes long, part 13. I didn't watch the whole thing, but it is an oil painting demo.

Bill.
If you click on the 'Playlist' button at the top righthand side you will get a list of video tutorials to choose from. They look quite good at first glance. I think they are worth a longer viewing.

Re: Helpful oil painting tutorials

Hi there. I'm an absolute beginner and have been really enjoying your tutorials on youtube. Your work is much more towards my liking than alot of the others. I live in Florida and love your black canvases for a nice swampy murky look. Thanks!
