Help!
Am trying to enter a pic in the best or wet canvas contest and having a problem with the uploader The picture is off, too much width and not enough height. I use the same setup I always use to post but no matter what, I get the same results, a squished picture.

Hi I'm a brand newbie but on other forums (fora?) I can directly link to any image I have stored at my Photobucket account - is this allowed on Wet Canvas or does it mess up the forum arrangements? I'll try it in my next post (third post, won't allow me to do it right now) to see if it works, sorry to be a nuisance.

The maximum pixture size allowed is 800 pixels square and pictures should be uploaded or attached to your post. Oversize pictures will be removed.

Externally hosted pictures should not be used as they have a habit of disappearing rendering the post useless.

Is there supposed to be any problems uploading pics into a thread on a Mac? I have had trouble using safari to post a new thread with pics. I have to use firefox and even in that one, the paperclip option doesn't work, only the "insert image" option works. I don't ever remember having problems on my pc with this, ever. To clarify, Im talking about a problem with uploading or attaching an image, not problems with the post or the site on the mac.

Yes. I have had reports that some versions of Mountain Lion/Safari don't work well with the uploader.

iPad Uploading

Following reports that uploading is now possible in iOS6 on the iPad, I have discovered you can only upload one picture per day. This is because the iPad doesn't attach a filename to your pictures and so any subsequent upload on that day will overwrite the previous picture.

Incidentally tapping the picture in the uploader window doesn't close it but it does insert the picture. Simply close the window after the picture appears.
