The ear, the two dots in it. That's the only thing I see and it's minor.

This is gorgeous! Skin tones, modeling, everything! Including the hat.

Bravo!

Dana, I wondered about that ear! Now I see it's heart shaped just like the locket and the eye bounces back and forth wondering what the heck...thanks!

Carol, thank you but might work on the hat a little more. Noticed a few things in the PHOTO I didn't see in the PAINTING.

very good...just the two dot thing already mentioned. The locket looks like it is hanging in air though rather than being seated on her skin....is the shadow too far away? would a darker value closer to the locket be a solution?

Re: Fur Hat - C&C welcome

Great edge control in the fut hat! The eyes are lovely.. keep drawing me in.
The only suggestion I have is the edge of her shoulder. There's a little "blip" in the background color that is distracting. Someone once told me "never let the background know what the foreground is doing" - I always think of that when I am having to fill in a background around an object. The background, at least in the photo here, appears to "know" that it is going around her shoulder and is slightly darker, following her silhouette.
But I have to say, without reservation, this is a beautiful portrait and really sensitively portrayed. Good job!!

Thanks Dana and Turpintine...

ZeeZee gonna work on that ear thanks! As for the locket it is hanging in air 'cause she's hunched over a bit so that works

mtnrunner good point on the background. Thanks!
